The Priest House and Barden Tower offer an imposing backdrop with a long romantic history.
Perfectly settled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales national park, close to the Bolton Abby estate, Barden Tower was one on 6 hunting lodges built in the 15th century, the word Barden meaning “valley of the wild boar” in Anglo Saxon !!. Fortunately nowadays there are no wild boar but the surrounding countryside remains unchanged and is perfect for your wedding photography.
The historical Priest house and Old Chapel have now been lovingly restored and play host to exclusive weddings and medieval banquets accommodating up-to 80 guests.
The Priest House is a familiar venue for us and we work closely with the staff to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible and your wedding photographs will be treasured forever.
